Celebrating Valentine’s Day

Celebrating Valentine’s Day

Happy Valentine’s Day everybody!

Personally, I love the 14th of February and celebrating all things love and having a gazillion cuddles and kisses.

I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but if you’re a romantic like me, you’ll hopefully love this post.

First off I want to show ya what I’ve bought Kane.

I decided to go with a pizza theme this year if you can’t tell…

We decided to down scale on the amount we spend this year with being in our own house and everything.

I also LOVE the card I bought because it’s so us. I always say I love him to the moon and back and when I saw this card, I knew it was perfecto.

Also how cute is the design?

The card was from Clintons, the mug and socks from Card Factory, the candy pizza from Home Bargains and the reem of tokens were from Tiger (how cute are these?!)

As I’ve not started my job quite yet, I’ve spent the day in comfy clothes, but I sprayed a little bit of Killer Queen perfume, put a bit of red lippy on and wearing my favourite nails from KISS*.

Me and my lovely plan on spending the night on the sofa watching films, having a cuddle and just enjoying each other’s company.

We went out last year and it just ended up costing so much money so we’ve decided to cook together this evening.

After falling IN LOVE with these steaks from Tesco last week, we’ve decided to get some more. They’re so tender and cook to perfection!

We’ve also gone for a few sides of fresh rocket, cheesy potato gratin and a cheese and tomato flatbread.

For drinks and dessert we’ve gone with my absolute favourite beverage which is the Belvoir Raspberry Lemonade (they sell it at Pizza Express) and some golden syrup steamed puds and brownies for later on.

I couldn’t think of anything better than eating yummy food and watching a good film.

Now onto prezzies…

Like I mentioned before, we didn’t want to spend a lot of money this year so Kane bought me a few little bits.

He got me a plastic rose – I can’t have real flowers because of my horrid allergies.

I also chose a skirt I’ve been wanting for yonks from New Look which you can find here.

He also got me some Polar Bear socks which are also from New Look, simply because I love them.

This is mine and Kane’s fourth Valentine’s Day together and I can’t wait to spend the rest of them together too.

What are you doing for Valentine’s Day this year? Or are you just celebrating with a big glass of wine?

*These nails were provided as a PR Sample.
